Downtown Raleigh is becoming a hot spot for food and fashion, and The Mint Restaurant is a significant part of this transformation.
In this Webisode of The Shopping Fix we visit The Mint, which played host to SoHo's
fall/winter runway show, a cutting-edge boutique in Raleigh featuring
the most current trends in this season's designer clothes. The Mint
successfully combined contemporary Southern fare with the latest looks
off European runways.
As models
mingled among guests, The Mint served an assortment of breads, fruit,
cheeses and one of the most delicious grilled chicken salads
imaginable.
The word of the day
was "girly," as designers brought back the elegant ladylike look
accentuated by layers of light fabric with ribbon and bow accessories.
Deep blue/grays, rustic reds and jewel tones were revealed as the
colors of the moment.
